Joseph Parker is arguably the best heavyweight to come out of New Zealand in their proud boxing history. In Joe's 22nd professional fight he secured the WBO Heavyweight World title over rugged Mexican Andy Ruiz Jr. Joe defended his world title in New
Zealand before travelling to the UK where he again defended it successfully over Hughie Fury. In March 2018 Joe returned to the UK to challenge Anthony Joshua in a World title unification bout with the WBA, IBF & WBO world titles on the line. Sadly Joe
lost this fight after becoming the first person to stretch Joshua the distance. Joe returned to the UK later that year only to loose a narrow points decision against the # 1 ranked heavyweight contender in Dillain Whyte in a razor close one. Joe has since
rebounded successfully having notched up 2 wins over Alexander Flores and Alex Leapai in the USA.
27 year old Parker is young in heavyweight terms and is detirmined to get back into the mix. Joe is the only person to defeat Andy Ruiz who has gone
onto conquer Anthony Joshua and is the current WBA, IBF & WBO heavyweight world champion.
